A little gem of a pub, warm friendly welcome for humans and dogs alike. Great food too, we enjoyed 3 different meals in the week we stayed in Drummore. The Pizza's are excellent 24 hrs notice required for these but well worth the wait they definitely couldn't be described as small, it took us a couple of goes to finish them.
I had lunch here last week when visiting a friend who is local and what a great friendly pub serving excellent food. The owners and staff were very friendly and I would highly recommend it if in the area.
Found this place when looking for an afternoon coffee, we weren't sure from the outside but once inside it is a lovely welcoming pub, small but beautifully done, very clean a lovely cup of coffee and lots of homemade cakes and scones and the prices are very good. There are lots of original paintings on the wall to buy and jewellery and bee's wax candles on sale, we will definitely go back if in the area again
Absolute gem of a place. We stumbled across this pub when we were cycling. All the staff are so friendly. The homemade cakes are incredible. We pre-booked the homemade pizzas for the night after and they were amazing. We only needed 2 pizzas as advised by the locals at the time of booking! and some sides for all 4 of us, they were huge! The pub is spotless and it's nice to see rules about dogs for a change e.g they are welcome but they need to be on a short lead. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone although we are secretly hoping this area doesn't get too popular as it's just lovely the way it is.
Very friendly place with excellent food, tried a 'small portion' scampi and it was a good plate of food for a reasonable price and a soup with a scone. Very friendly owners with a cosy atmosphere, realy liked it.
I visited a few times with my family whilst visiting the area, food is simple, well priced home made offering, great value for money. The inn itself really has a feel of being central to the community, pay them a visit you will feel really welcome.
Fantastic little family run pub, right by the beach. A very warm welcome, and great food and drink. Well lit, warm and comfortable. Child and dog friendly. Games and books provided. Open all day. Great for a quick coffee and scone at lunch with the family, a pint by yourself after work, or food and a bottle of wine in the evening with the other half. Worth checking out their Facebook page for events, as there's loads going on, music, quizzes, games, talks, etc. Highly recommended!

Great community pub with a good bar that also has a range of mocktails. Also good for beverages with a selection of lovely home made scones and cake. Great atmosphere, very welcoming to all. We love taking our dog who is content to sit under the table. Had a lovely meal last week, very tasty.
Recently moved into the village and a big part of meeting people and being accepted around here was because of The Ship Inn, Wendy, Mark, Aaron and Katie have always been incredibly welcoming, love a good chat and create an amazingly friendly environment for anyone. The food only gets better and the events put on by them are always fun.
