Fantastic Accommodation and Great Value For Money. Best mattresses that we have ever slept on. Great little lounge area within Our Room plus the added bonus of having a Microwave along with tea and coffee making facilities. Awesome Rain Forest Double Shower Head and really spacious en-suite. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who, like Ourselves, likes to explore the area around us, without having to spend a Fortune. Able to come and go as we pleased.
It is a nice real pub type of pub. Plenty of place to sit. More type if beer or lager and spirits. We drunk ginger - rhubarb gin as our bar man suggestied it is nice. He was right. We were there on Saturday and Sunday bith nice was quiet. Toilette so so ok. And still ok clean. Was nice music not too laud so we could talk. There was a pool table.
Old pub feel good staff will have a chat with you as you enjoy a pint
We went on Halloween and it was really well decorated with the theme. However only 3 customers in so we left. Ignored by the barman even though he saw me waiting to be served while he was writing in a book.
While on a very random visit to Stranraer, I ventured out to the local town from the B&B. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was good. Good selection of beer and whiskey. Pool table has done it's time but using that as an excuse for how bad I am.
Great place. There was a fantastic band on when we were in the other weekend. Staff are great & if you like Gin try Jawbox

The Pub has all the components of a great bar..... awesome drink selection and superb service..... wish it was in Belfast!!!!
We stopped in here one night for a night cap on way home and ended up staying for few more than planned. Robert the owner and Davie behind the bar made us very welcome and made us some amazing cocktails and shared some laughs with them .
What a great wee find this was and great ambience, friendly staff and really good food and were very welcoming to us and our 10 year old. Definitely recommend
