Good pub good place to be with chuck the man

Have only visited as a pub, great location if shopping at Farnborough Gate or visiting local events football etc. Great staff, good range of drinks and good food. Staff are really friendly and helpful. RecommendedService: 5/5

First visit to this pub. 100% would recommend. Real down to earth staff and customers. Don't know what brewery owns the place but doesn't seem like a big corporation run pub. Friendly local, the kind of place where you would see a dog roaming free and a nice fireplace. Not many places like it left.

Hi we had a good night there cos my sister n crew were celebrating her 70th birthday. She is very good for her age. The band was quite good but it was a very friendly night from the staff-land lord/lady to the customers. Will go there again.

Love the out door space both under cover and sheltered by a large tree. Current rules are in place for table orders via an app, which is effectively fast and the staff are just lovely.

Recently re-opened after a 2-week shut-down. New toilets! see-through windows! clean seating! Everything has been cleaned/repainted; good beer, friendly staff. BT TV. Jukebox etc. Pool room at the back, small snug for the older quieter visitors who would rather chatter without having to shout at each other.

Nice little local, with beer garden and parking, burger van some evenings. Otherwise no dining.Service: 4/5

Always a great atmosphere especially on Sundays that is roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding day. Most Saturdays they have live singers or Very good D.J's

It was nice, it always is. There was only 11 people in, so plenty of room. The Newcy was Lovely and the Pub was warm.
