I recently had my work Christmas do at The George and I can’t recommend it enough! We had the best time! Food was great, and we took advantage of the 241 cocktails! Great atmosphere and book a booth if you can top tip Thanks to Mo for being so welcoming, and as if they had Santa too! So much fun
Decent pub large pub with good bar area, loads of TVs and most importantly a sports licence. Called in to watch the England Vs Wales World Cup match. To get a table you had to book but we were able to stand and watch. Great facilities, friendly staff and a great atmosphere!
Great pub, outstanding environment but very poor customer service. I happen to find a racist and arrogant female lady who didn’t have respect for customer and denying to take suggestion. I have been to pub twice in the pub in a matter of two weeks and asked for Gin& Tonic but no lemon peace, every single time I asked for lemon, her answer was no and didn't even bother finding some. On the second day I suggested her this is my second time and you always tell that there is no lemon. I told her can we have lemon peace next time but she totally ignored me and stated behaving rudely, Which was totally unacceptable. I will never visit this pub nor recommended anyone to visit pub unless there is a bar staff with good attitude, positive mentality to care fir customer, who are mean to positive, friendly and taking suggestion from customer for their own benefits.
We've visited The George a couple of times and always had a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loved the karaoke on a Thursday and the music and atmosphere was especially good on a Saturday night. Excellent pub!
Me along with my friend went and ordered for a kilo of hot wings and the table we chose was reserved and we told a girl with a long hair told us chose another table we gonna serve you there and we told her we gonna stay over there in a specific table we waited but the food never arrived and I went and told how long its gonna take and a lady may be age around 50 with a black hair simply told me that the food was served someone eat your food go ask them your money I feel real bad and I was shocked with her reply. What a service wow
Great service this evening thank you. We came in with not a lot of the time before heading to the football our food came out so fast and was fab. Thank you to the friendly staff.
Popped in for breakfast what a love pub. So clean,the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Mo talked me through the ingredients and helped with my allergies . Would highly recommend.
The place is really nice. The ambiance is very good. Great music. Drinks are also very good here. Seating arrangement is also very good. Great place to party on weekends.
Absolutely amazing bar staff! The food was brilliant and the vibe in the pub is just as happy as anything: will definitely be recommending the George to anyone who needs a night full of fun and excitement
Amazing pub in the middle of Aldershot!! Good beer with live sports!! I was served by Mo and Jason and they were brilliant!! Will be back along soon!
