Just had a lovely lunch. U got more starter but forgot to take picture. Would highly recommend it. Great menu choice, friendly staff, very clean
A typical English country pub with a great restaurant. The food is amazing especially the Sunday roast diner. Just make reservation online, the staff is lovely and helpful.
Delightful hidden away gastro type pub that is the oldest 1630! on the Fylde coast. Serving a selection of ales & food in a lovely sympathetically restored interior. Southerly views across the Ribble marshes, with balcony & outdoor add to the charm. The food menu is a little limited, with generous portions, - the addition of smaller salads etc would be welcome; irrespective all is freshly & swiftly prepared, by the friendly attentive Ship team.
Really pleased. Great food selection, fantastic service! We will definitely be eating there again soon. Recommended.
Food was to quick to come out, not been in 10 minutes and food was served, was just warm looks better that it tasted, chicken was dry roasted potatoes were over cooked, service for drinks was very slow. Also observes staff stroking dogs, then serving food and drinks without washing their hands………,just saying
Very nice food Highly recommend. 1 of our locals now.
Fabulous place, wonderful menu, great location. Food is usually exceptional, and today all bar mine were exceptional again. Today my gorgeously delicious Beef Wellington came lukewarm ... hotted up by the waitress offering a jug of hot gravy which made things better! Service was friendly and efficient. We had a lovely eve, and would definitely return.
A lovely place with great atmosphere and food. It was definitely worth the dive from Blackpool for my birthday meal here with my boyfriend. It's dog friendly and they do a quiz night on Thursdays. The food was overall great. I had a braised beef Wellington for my main, which was beautiful, and the cocktail was delicious. My only slight disappointment was the cherries that came with the black forest cheesecake, which had the texture of cheap glacé cherries. The cheesecake itself was delectable though.
Delicious birthday meal and drinks in lovely tranquil countryside setting and cosy log fire. Very friendy and welcoming staff, a perfect afternoon.
Had a really nice meal with my friend on a Tuesday as it was 2 4 1 on mains, relaxed setting with a beautiful view from the upstairs terrace. The only thing that took away the 2 stars were 1 the prices and 2 I'm under the impression that it's no longer a family venue as the menu doesn't have anything aimed at anyone with a less than adventurous palette. Great for adults though with plenty of disposable income.
