This has got to be the worst, un welcoming pub I've ever went to. The landlady was the rudest I've ever met
Really nice staff and pub is quite nice to be fair
Walked in with a friend on a Saturday night 1/2/2020 and was refused a drink as there was a private party, which locals didnt know about and they had been in the pub all night. One nice gent tried to get me and my friend a drink and was told no, and when he questioned why not, he got no answer other than theres a private party that he WASNT part of. I would like to add there was no notifications on the windows, doors walls, internal or external about this imaginary party so I can only question what was the real reason for the rejection? Its a sad state of affairs when an establishment advertises opening times only to reject customers when they come in outside peak hours in an acceptable manner, shame on you.
Good beer ,good staff and also good music
Draft beer r 3 service's Draft, bottle, or can. But wen you ask for a pint of Guinness on a Pub they have two kinds, normal or extra cold, so wen I ask for extra cold, no reason to be rude and say Guinness is Guinness. The lady should say we don't do extra cold. Thanks
We've stopped for a quick lunch while on business, and were stunned by the hospitality and the feeling to be within this historical tavern. Memorable visit
Excellent Pub felt at home love the landlady who's a real person cheers Dee
Very pleasant just like pubs used to be. Lovely landlady
The pub is OK and all, haven't drunk there in the evening used to grab a pint on the way home from work. Could do with having a real ale on tap.
Lovely staff and some customers , could do with a lick of paint , pretty good pool team , same parking
