Chips cooked in beef dripping and I am veggie. Very polite young waiter let me go to nearby chip shop to buy chips then put them on plate for me so I could eat with my friends. Excellent service. Thanks

BEST FISH & CHIPS I HAVE HAD IN YEARS! I called in The Sheringham Trawler yesterday, having travelled down from Yorkshire for a few days' holiday and the friendly welcome I received was second-to-none. I had the cod and chips and they were absolutely delicious, with a very good-sized portion, even for the standard portion. The cod was in a beautifully crispy batter and the chips were 'real' chips - not those awful, half-cooked, wooden chips that so many fish shops now give you. I will definitely have to call in here again before the end of my stay, and it goes without saying that I would recommend this brilliant fish and chip restaurant to anyone who wants decent, properly cooked, delicious fish and chips.

Fish and chips are soooo good here. Really good value as well. Had 2 dogs with us and you can sit outside on the bench under shelter. What more can you ask.
