Story

Whelk Coppers Tea Rooms was established in 1992 by the present owners Sandra & Peter Foster. This family run business can be found right on the West Promenade (on the coastal path) in Sheringham, open 7 days a week serving breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas or coffee and homemade cakes.

All cakes, scones and soup are made on the premises and dietary requirements, i.e. gluten free etc can be catered for on request. Our 3 tier afternoon tea is a must. Dogs are welcome with water bowls available.

The Tea Rooms are panelled in Indian Teak from a Royal Navy Frigate built in Calcutta in 1820 and in winter an open fire welcomes our visitors. The amazing wrought Iron gates were reputedly designed by Walt Disney, a friend of the original owner

A very interesting cafe and well worth a visit. Friendly staff and good food. The interior is clad from the planks of an ancient gallon two amazing fireplaces and sea views. What more could you want. Plus a loyalty card on their coffee. Well worth a visit.

Nice, cosy seaside cafe/tea room with great selection of hot drinks and tasty cakes. The staff were friendly and efficient, the interior clean, tidy and welcoming and the place has a great view to boot! Pop in and see for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
