I stayed in one of the smaller queen rooms (it was actually listed as such on their website) over St. Patrick's Day during a solo trip to the city. I could not have felt more comfortable in my room or in the hotel. It was a little treat of history and luxury at the same time at an actually reasonable price (guess I was lucky?). While the room was smaller than I've stayed at in other cities, it was well worth it for me. I ordered room service which was beyond quick, so another surprising treat for me. They have refrigerators in the room that are weighted with the minibar offerings.

I came for the morning buffet as a non-guest. After a little initial confusion around people paying the €28 per person without it being included, my party was invited to eat and seated. The buffet food wasn't anything truly excellent in isolation, but the Saddle Room excels compared to its virtually nonexistent competition for early morning food of any substance. The full Irish breakfast in the buffet was quite suitable, with good eggs, ham, and sausage along with OK but fairly flavorless scrambled eggs and puddings; the tomato was good. I feel super snooty complaining that the quality wasn't spectacular, but at its cost, I expected just a bit more. Still, very solid compared to limited options.

The Shelbourne hotel is a beautiful, elegant and higher end hotel. The staff is genuinely warm and gracious. The rooms are plush and comfortable. The location makes it ideal for most touristic endeavors. We ran into a hiccup in regards to a small malfunction with a shower component and the action from the staff was discreet, professional and impressively quick. We will absolutely return here in any future visits to Dublin! Love this hotel!

Great service and the concierge Alan was so helpful and friendly. Rooms and hotel overall was very clean. Polite staff daily. Turndown service with chocolate, water and slippers was great, attention to detail to who in the room preferred still and sparkling. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to another! Note: Maestro cards are not accepted here at the reception. Unfortunately I was informed when I was departing.

Fine hotel. Rooms beautiful. To be expected from The Sherbourne. What was not expected was the staff. Extremely friendly without being overbearing. Bar was reasonable for a hotel bar
