Stopped by for dinner around 5:00PM. The wife and I where shown to a table and then promptly ignored. By the time 5:30 rolled around we left, having never been so much as spoken to by the wait staff since being seated. Keep in mind there where only four other people dining in the restaurant this whole time. Avoid this place.

Edit to add: in response to the owner. It's quite hard to question the manager when both they and the waitstaff hadn't been seen for the past ten minutes. No staff was even present when we left, they had all gone down to the basement. That is kind of the whole point of why I posted this "silly review" rather than talk to someone as there was no one to talk to. It is not my job as a customer to attempt to track your staff down and question them as to why no service has been provided. However, seeing how flippant you are about these concerns simply reinforces my thought that your restaurant should be avoided.

Food was nearly perfect. Breaded cheese was cold in middle for starters, but taste was great. Staff were friendly and polite. Not for money savers tho.

of us dined at The Shack restaurant as we were looking for Irish pub food and it was after 10pm on a Friday night and this was the only place still serving food in the very buzzy Temple bar area of Dublin. Two of us had Irish lamb stew with Irish soda bread, it was excellent, another one of us had beef casserole also excellent and two of us had the Shack salad with chicken (original salad comes with Irish cheese of which we swapped to chicken breast), this salad was superb, so delicious, I highly recommend this salad.The service was very good and the food very tasty.

Had a nice experience with a small group. The staff were polite and food came out in reasonable time, and all together, which is nice. As for the food itself, I wouldn't say it was anything mind-blowing, but it was simple and left everyone at the table satisfied.
