Love this place for atmosphere and food quality. I espically love the Sunday €7.77 menu and drinks. Come in a small group and try to sit at the bar. This place only takes reservations for groups of 6 or more. If you don't have a reservation drop in and give your name and you can go have a drink while you wait.

One of my favourites. They change the menu quite often - every season, which is very refreshing. You will usually have to wait to get a seat here. Because it is very small and they don't take reservations (i think they will take from 6+) not recommended for large groups of people. Food is soooo good. The plates are small /medium so you can share a few plates. The Margaritas are amazing!

Great selection of lesser known Latin American Food. Oyster shot was a tasty surprise and blended well with the specialty tacos. Frozen Margaritas are fantastic yet treatherous. Friendly staff, great music. Numerous items were unavailable though and not suitable for larger groups (we were 5, got the only big table)

After a good first experience at 777 two years ago, I went back with a few friends for dinner with high expectations as back then, their tapas and margaritas were really good. The quality of the food, the taste and the cocktails are still decent, however, the amount of money you're paying for a tiny plate is just ridiculous. We ordered a few plates to share, so we could try different dishes and to give two examples "Grilled Figs with Prosciutto" for €16 was barely one bite for the 4 of us. Also the "Amarillo" (Tuna Ceviche) we had to share in such tiny portions. At the end, despite the fact that we ordered quite a few tapas, we all still were hungry and had already a large bill, so we decided to just oder a few more nachos before leaving - which is one of the worst things at a restaurant. Also to add, the staff was not really attentive or friendly. So for now, I am definitely not going back again.

A must visit for any Mexican food lovers. Mind, it's not your 'typical' Mexican taco chain stop, it's a fine dining Mexican with a twist. Intrigued? Let me tell you one thing - when a place has sustained its reputation for more than 6 years now - you know its good. 777 is already a brand of its own, 777 is that cool family you always wanted to be part of and if you haven't done tequila nights there you haven't lived in Dublin. In fact, those guys are so damn good they don't need any advertising at all. The exterior is all black and if you don't know - you'll just pass by. Last but not the least - Tuna taquitos are simply legendary (I believe 'food porn' was firstly used to describe their taste) and if you are on low budget, pop in on Sunday for €7 tapas style menu. PS no I wasn't paid to write this, quite the opposite - I spent way too much money here through years.
