Fantastic barbecue food in a cool environment Excellent value and service. With a great selection of craft beer too. Wine was delicious. Loved this place it will become a regular venue for family lunches and evenings out with friends. Can't recommend it enough.

Great food and large portions for what you pay. The menu although different seems a bit unnecessary, the wooden board menu and the shopping carts for chips were nice touches though. Food came out very quickly which was great, nice selection of beers/ciders to choose from. I'd recommend going here if you're in the Smithfield area but if you're more central in Dublin City you'll find similar spots.

According to our Brazilian waiter, the food is Irish BBQ (beef brisket, pulled pork, &chicken), but it’s just like well prepared American BBQ, and was quite good. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was warm & cozy, with a hip bluesey soundtrack playing in the background. They offer a good selection of bottled craft beers. We’ll be back.

Must go to place for all the meat lovers. I had tasty beef and chicken there. Sides are quite good, esp. sausages :) Portions are rather large. If you have vegetarians in your group, they can order food from their sister restaurant and have it at My Meat Wagon.

I came here for dinner while on vacation, and enjoyed the overall experience. The food was an excellent take on American style BBQ with a unique local flavor. I had the pork board, and really enjoyed the pulled pork and the pork belly. I also had the baked beans and mashed potatoes; the potatoes were great but the BBQ sauce base used for the beans had a lot of vinegar (same for the bottle of sauce on the table). Bear in mind that my taste buds aren't use to a lot of vinegar in sauces, so it's just my personal opinion. I think it would be nice if they also had a bottle of hot (i.e., spicy) BBQ sauce on the table. Perhaps something along the lines of a Kansas City style sauce. Overall, I had an excellent meal, enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff, and recommend stopping by for a meal if you're ever in Dublin.
