Token is a bit of a mixed bag. Is it amazing fun? Yes, absolutely. But it tries to be three different things: a craft beer pub, a restaurant and an arcade hall. The mixture is exciting, but they interfere with one another. For example, the volume on the Dance Dance Revolution machine is turned down so as not to disturb the diners... but it's so low that you can't hear the music when you're playing the machine. That kind of typifies the place - there are better burger halls and better craft beer places, and the one thing that makes the place unique (the arcades) are watered down to make room for the other two. Regardless, this place is an incredibly fun time, and is reasonably inexpensive. I just can't imagine going back more than once.

Nostalgia central!!! Great place for a different kind of evening/day. It's impossible to get bored as they seem to change some of the machines every month! At €20 for 50 tokens and most machines only take a single token it's a very reasonable night out for the fun to money ratio. The food here is simple but always top notch quality! I can never visit without getting some of the gorgeous steak tacos and a vegan brownie. 10/10 keep up the awesome work Token!

Just off the main square in Smithfield, this is an old school gaming arcade and bar restaurant combined. In its desire to be funny, the menu is quite cryptic. The food was tasty, though very much in the "upmarket fast food style" . Service was average. And of course because you are essentially eating in an amusement arcade, it's quite noisy, and there are lots of people moving around between the tables. Downstairs there are pinball machines, which I really enjoyed. That distinctive sound of those electromechanical machines really takes me back to my youth.

Great games and food is nice and cheap. Drinks are also fairly priced. They are under staff most of the time which makes drinking a lot harder than other spots and the music can be a bit too loud. But it's an original bar and great young and fun atmosphere.

I've been to Token twice and I do love going there for the arcade machines. The food choice and service do hold the place back though. What food I do get is really great but half the menu is always unavailable, including the drinks. The staff are not great either. They're constantly trying to get people off their tables and they're quite pushy. The staff are also pretty unapologetic when items off the menu aren't available. Its also become a victim of its own success and trying to get a machine you really love is nigh impossible.
