Came in today for a bite to eat as we had heard great things about this pub. We were not disappointed. Staff were lovely, friendly and a credit to the team. Great menu, we both had steak sandwiches, which were delicious. Big log fire crackling away gave that lovely cozy feel. We will most definitely return soon. Thank you Seven Stars for making our visit a most pleasurable one. Vegetarian options: Good choices Parking: Plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access Dietary restrictions: Adapt food to suit
Beautiful character pub with lovely indoor eating environment and nice garden in the summer too. Lovely snack lunch, and I heard others complimenting the chefs on the main meals too. Friendly staff, not too far from us, we need to go more often!
As a family we have eaten here several times recently, we live close by and have seen the pub change hands over the last 10yrs and feel that currently it is better than ever! The owners and staff are welcoming, extremely experienced and therefore provide a consistently good and attentive level of service with great food and bar selection to accompany! We have enjoyed every meal, especially the roasts with two vegetarians being equally satisfied, the staff always go the extra mile - even when there’s a request for a cup of whipped cream for pudding! Highly recommend and encourage anyone to visit who may be local or passing!
Went for Sunday lunch. Pub was quite busy, food tasted very good. However, food took a ling time to come. The young staff were slow to clear, it was hard to get their attention, they were clearing empty tables, no customers waiting, and our main meal plates were still on table when our desserts arrived. Young staff friendly but did not have their eye on the ball unfortunately .
A beautiful 16th Century pub... Gastro pub theses days. Good menu. Not too many choices, but with all the common pub grub items. Some specials available, one of which was a "Dirty Vicar" I think a dipping cheese sharer. Thoroughly recommend this as a stop off if you are going past Leigh. Or even...... special trip out of your way if you fancy it!
Popped in for lunch. The pub had a lovely warm atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.Food: 5/5
Our first time at the Seven Stars. Pub very busy but parking the car was no problem . Very friendly staff . My wife and I both had prawns to start and I can’t remember a more tasty starter in a very long time . Quality of food excellent. We will most certainly be back . Well done Steve and Crew
Lovely meal very good service good price ,waitresses very friendly and compliments to the chief for his Asian food it was amazing, its a very n8ce small pub not overcrowded. We will definitely go again
Nice friendly pub, lovely open fire. Just had and quick sandwich and drink, will go again and have a long Sunday lunch. Parking: Lots of parking
A lovely country pub and particularly convenient if making the cycle from London to Brighton. Happy with our food and staff made our meal enjoyable. The pub is very accomodating to children and dogs, just a shame there isn't a specific play area for the kids.
