Lovely place that serves Sunday food after 1500 hours. Food was very good and all three of us enjoyed the meals. Service was excellent and very friendly. Only downside was the lack of range in the drinks department. Recommend a visit if you are in the area. We would return for sure.

I came here with my wife for out anniversary. Eddie made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. The food in the bar was great, really big portions and other than the ketchup everything is produced locally. Everything was clean and you can tell that they pay attention to detail. We stayed in a 4 poster bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the room was warm and the place is really quiet. If you have a light sleep you might hear noise every now and then from other rooms, but nothing too bad. The breakfast was delicious and with lots of yummy options, my wife is vegan and they were happy to make some adjustments for her meals. The location is fantastic as you're really close to the best places in cotswolds. I would definitely come back and next time try the restaurant.

Great rooms: very clean and spacious! Slept like a log. Pub is full of character and serves an excellent breakfast.

Top Sunday lunch, opted for the beef instead of the pork belly. Beef nice & pink, a uniquely presented yorkie, perfect roasters and a portion of cabbage and spring onion which was really tasty @ £15. Added green beens in an almond dressing which topped things off. Not much choice for dessert though which is the only thing that lets the place down. Service was top drawer, worth a visit if you are in the area.

A bit of a mixed bag. Comfortable rooms but the staff seemed to find our presence (just me and my wife) in the bar at 22:30 rather irritating. Clearly needed to be elsewhere as hinted at by loud cashing up process and general put-out attitude. Didn't want another drink anyway. So, fine if you want to eat/relax elsewhere but don't expect to be late!
