First time here in Fraserburgh with my hubby. It was recommended that we try here for food.nWe were so glad we did, the staff were very helpful and the waiter an older chap with glasses was very helpful and attentive. We both ordered the breakfast and we were not disappointed at the food amount or the quality of it or the price.nHad a look at the menu and lots of yummy food listed. We will be back for the steak .nThank you for a great experience
We had breakfast at the Saltoun Inn on January 27th 2026.nThe food was delicious and served quickly by lovely and friendly staff.nA central location and comfortable interior made for an excellent experience.nRecommended.
£7.50 for a very tasty scottish breakfast, everything was nicely cooked with quality produce...nExtra £2.50 for toast though... c'mon nn... would have been 5 if the toast came with breakfast like other places
Glad I only had one night here. The room was ok at a glance, best comfortable, but the room became roasting hot during the night, thought I’ll just open the window - nope sealed shut, ok then maybe I’ll put the aircon on - nope doesn’t work. So ended up with a desk fan just blowing stuffy air around. The shower took ages to come through warm and even when it didn’t got lukewarm at most.nThe food was edible but it was presented to me by a chef who looked like he’d just come off one of the trawlers. Chef whites looking like they are 10 years old and have never seen a washing machine.nI wish I checked the reviews more closely before booking as the higher star rating seems to be from back when it was a Wetherspoons.
Met my family here and it was decent enough. A typical bar. Food was okay and staff were friendly enough. Bar needed a bit of a freshen up.
