What a lovely pub, well hidden, had no idea it was here. It comes with parking, front garden, big space indoors. Toilets are upstairs. They offer drinks & food. Good for families. I took a star off, the they don’t take cash - the legal tender!
A great pub in North London, very large and with an outside area. It has a fireplace in the center and the tables are a good distance apart. Staff are polite and super helpful. The bathroom is on the top floor, which prevents disabled access. The online menu needs updating, such as: including a photo of the dishes and removing the dishes that are no longer served, as it confuses. It's a nice place!
They had very limited dishes as we missed Sunday lunch so ordered the fish and chips. It was delicious and crispy. Plus, this is the only pub I know that sells my favourite red wine 19 crimes. So 5 stars all over. Service is great too. They are quick and on the ball which means the bar isn't clogged with people waiting to be served. There's a car park opposite which requires your car registration in the pub.
A nice pub in the heart of Winchmore Hill. They are very accommodating, having been here on a few occasions I can't really fault the service of the staff here. They have a car park which is free to customers which is a massive plus, especially if you are coming from outside of Winchmore Hill. They have an outside area which is great in the sun and they have heaters for when it's cold out as well. There are plenty of seats for all. The food is reasonably priced, it reflects the area, so expect to pay £10+ for fish and chips. The food is nice, it's not Michelin star quality but it serves it's purpose. You can order via the app or go to the bar to order, however I did find that some items on the paper menu weren't on the app, such as an Elderflower Spritzer unless I just happened to miss it. I ordered some Korean chicken for my starter which was very nice, however the side salad which came with it was definitely not fresh and looked old and withered I didn't eat it as a result However that being said, I would recommend a visit to The Salisbury Arms, its a friendly pub which is open to all, you can also bring your kids here as well.
Fantastic food and service here today. I attended with my family for a late father's day meal and was greeted very warmly by the team. Our drinks order was taken and served swiftly, as was our food. I ordered the roast chicken which was delicious! Probably the nicest roast chicken I've had from a pub, juicy and flavourful. Our plates were cleared quickly and we were offered desserts and another round of drinks. Great atmosphere, very clean and very friendly. Big thanks to James, Nick and the team
Great Pub, lovely food, Sunday roast was delicious definitely a must have Sunday lunch. Excellent indoor atmosphere and outdoor space. Very friendly and helpful staff, specially thanks to "Nick" and "Musa" for an excellent Sunday lunch experience. This was our first time definitely will visit again. Keep up the good work guys.
Lovely classic pub. Good range of beers and mixers. Great food, friendly staff. Perfect for a nice winter lunch, especially if you get seats near the open fire.
A huge thank you to James and the team for such a well organised Christmas dinner. Catering for 81 of us took some planning but you did a superb job. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing. Well done and thank you.
Very good Mitchell's and Butler's. Very good range of cask and draught beer available! For always had been good. Been coming here for over 20 years. Current landlord Adam is very effective and runs a good pub !
Superb Sunday roast & deliciously huge yorkshires. Outside seating too. Our sever was lovely, great fun & helpful. Excellent value.
