Welcoming and friendly pub, with lovely food and drinks, a wood fire and a pool table. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

If you haven't been to the Royal Standard for a while then you are in for a Treat. Its had a face lift and the theme food nights are a must. Be it burger, steak, pie , fish and chips or Curry night the food is always great. Especially good is the Sunday carvery. And Andy also does takeaway kebab that is great if you are feeling too lazy to cook. The garden lovely, the flags are flying and the pub is looking lovelier than ever these days. Andy and Lynne have worked their socks off making it a welcoming place for the Community. Great beer, great food and a lovely environment to meet friends and have a great time. Check it out!

Great pub with a very welcoming landlord and landlady the locals are friendly too. Dogs are welcome and the food is great too :)
