We stayed in a cottage with the royal Oak and it was absolutely amazing, the service was incredible, the bathroom had a heated floor and the bed was so comfortable! It really is so luxurious and we can't wait to go back!

Only stayed for one night but would come back for a long weekend. Very dog friendly and warm and welcoming staff. Superb food served in a great place full of ambience.

Marvellous country pub with comfortable accommodation and excellent food. Service was great and all at a reasonable price for the quality provided. Never saw the chef but he must be good Eggs Benedict to die for!

Great old British pub which also has a restaurant and a B & B. Excellent beers in the lovely wood floored bar served by charming folk. Sandwiches also available at the bar if you don't fancy a full meal mind you the sandwiches are substantial. Well worth a visit.

Overnight stay.  Great food in the evening. Live music. Friendly and helpful staff.  Best cooked breakfast in a long time.

Great food, and lovely to sit in the autumn sun
