Such a lovely warm welcome upon our arrival, we were a party of 7 and didn’t book but we received so much kindness and were met with lovely staff. The food was delicious and there wasn’t a long wait for it at all. The prices are perfect for the quality and quantity of food you get served. Would like to acknowledge our waiter, Ollie, who kindly stayed on after his shift had ended just to make sure we were taken care of. He greeted us with lots of smiles and made sure the service was perfect at all times.
Just had a meal with my wife and son at the Royal Oak. Food was really good cooked by Ben and a very reasonable cost. Must admit it's not the first time we've been there and it's always been great value and excellent food. Just never knew anybody's name to write a review. This time we were looked after by Sharon who is a lovely girl. Very friendly and helpful. Overall such a good experience. Highly recommended and we'll be back next Wednesday lunchtime for a build your own burger.
Really warm welcome on arrival. We booked a table to have food and watch the FA Cup Final and were promptly seated at a tabled right next to a tv screen - perfect for our 2 football mad boys! Both food and drink service were excellent and Ellie, in particular, went our of her way to ensure we were enjoying. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. Loved our visit and would definitely return
Having used the Royal oak for many years have found them to be good value for money, choice and service I decided to use them for my father's wake. Ellie and her team provided us with a stress free time from the moment of booking to the attentive service on the day. A big thank you from my family and myself and I am sure Dad enjoyed the send off. Regards Neil.
We arrived at the Royal oak and was greeted by Ollie who was very welcoming. . Ollie was very helpful and kept checking on us whilst we was eating.nI would definitely recommend for a nice day as garden is really nice to sit in and watch the football
