Food was excellent. Unfortunately service wasn't. We were a group of 25 and had pre-ordered our meals, it took ages for most of the mains arrived.and to top it all, they had run out of apple pie ( which had also been pre-ordered). We were very disappointed as all of it would have taken was a couple of extra staff.

Always a great time highly recommend this place food very good, staff helpful and friendly, great service and entertainment on a Friday night amazing atmosphere highly recommend this place

For me this is a middle of the road pub. A solid 6 out of 10. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is OK and reasonably priced. Atmosphere wise feels like a local pub in the sense that when you walk in for the first time there are a lot of eyes on you, but once you get over the threshold the atmosphere is relaxed and family centred It is a stretch of the imagination to advertise their beer garden as the best in the county........it is essentially picnic tables on the grass at the front of the pub, which is as open and exposed as that sounds. If you are local this isn't a bad place to go, but if you are visiting the area there are better places to stop at within a three mile radius

Great pub, the food is always nice, but a lot of the time they don't seem to have the macaroni cheese! Maybe there is a cheese shortage in Yately :) but friendly staff, and good value for money.

Great pub Paul the landlord always makes you feel welcome.food is great value for money and very polite and helpfull staff.good value.all round.
