I recently visited the Royal Oak in Lydd and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The pub had a great atmosphere, with a pool table for entertainment and live bands every Saturday night. The jukebox had a great selection of music and the drinks menu was top-notch. They had London Pride as the only real ale, but they also had a great selection of low-calorie lagers and zero alcohol options. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets, which had contactless soap, tap and dryer. The open log burning fire made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The bar also serves food and the selection of crisps was great. They also show football matches. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Royal Oak and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great selection of drinks, entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere.
The pub is spotless from the minute you walk through the door. Beer is really well priced. Has beer garden, darts board and pool table all in good nick. They also show live sky sports

Great pub! Great staff with a great atmosphere.
Not a bad place. Nice beers. Friendly staff and loads of tvs for the sports. Doesn't do food though.
We popped in for a pint and ended up staying for 4 rounds and a bananagrams marathon Really friendly staff, and even though we're not local, we were made to feel very welcome. Excellent snack selection and beers!
Had a great time all the other customers were really good fun and welcoming. The landlady and her husband were really friendly and nothing was to much trouble 10 out of 10 all round great place to go. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.
Great pub, awesome atmosphere and staff.
Great night live band and the landlord& landlady are very friendly wish it was my local top place.
