Visited today for first time for Sunday Carvery as family of 5. We booked online so we had a table ready for us when we arrived and were seated quickly. We ordered 3 carveries and 2 mains of the menu. The non-carveries were ready very quickly and we were all sorted for food at the same time. Carvery was lovely... Plenty to eat and good choice of veg. Good choice of things for kids here too. Understand the place has had a refurb recently... it looks good. Nice interior and it’s a clean and tidy place to eat. We liked our waitress, Emily. She was very polite and attentive and nothing was any trouble. My only negative was that our plates weren’t hot so our food cooled quite quickly. Other than that a really enjoyable visit and we’ll definitely be back.

The place is a shambles. The lady who just served me and my partner was rude. She showed the customers before and after where the plates and drinks were, we just got HELP YOURSELF and then she walked away. She couldn't crack a smile if her life depended on it. We then asked for a clean cup as the ones out were dirty and she checked everyone as if we were lying to her. I mean come on just get some clean cups. This is the main reason I would never go back. Why would I want to be there if the staff do t want to be there. Secondly. The good was bloody grim it was sat out under a hot light for ages. Just change it around after so long it's a few chips and hash browns come on

Had breakfast there this morning (first time since refurb) and breakfast was pretty much the same as before. Had the vegetarian sausages which always take a few extra minutes and we had to wait for the eggs to be ready which I think is something they need to look at because there always seems to be a wait for them. The rest of the breakfast was very nice and worth the price. The only thing I would say is that the air con came on overhead which helped to cool the breakfast down rather quickly. That was our mistake though! Had no issues with the staff who were very polite.

First visit and we'll definitely be back, good carvery with plenty of choice - one small point, plates need to be hot so food doesn't go cold so quickly. Friendly welcome and excellent service from beginning to end

Loved it, weekday prices are fantastic, friendly staff,(if a bit slow) and very tasty food.
