Went in for tooth extraction today, reception lady I think sue? was lovely, even on the phone. I’m usually scared of dental work, but it felt easier than getting a filling done. The dentist & the lady helping were also lovely : I’m extremely grateful and happy i’ll have no more pain. Thankyou!
Edit: In reference to Mr Singh’s response, my name on your records is Lauren Kerr which you will definitely find. I was referred to your practice and will not be removing my review. I was referred to have my wisdom tooth removed here and it was not a good experience. The dentist failed to explain the procedure and the risks, which I’m sure they are supposed to. Thankfully I’ve had a wisdom tooth removed before so was already aware. Part of my back molar was broken whilst taking my wisdom tooth out, I was not told this and only saw it later, my personal dentist told me this should have been filled in to avoid infection but it wasn’t. I was told to leave whilst my mouth was still pouring with blood, with no instructions on aftercare and during the healing process my stitches were left so long one embedded into my cheek and had to pulled out. Overall not a pleasant experience, I don’t know whether it was because I was an NHS referral but it definitely didn’t encourage me to become a patient there.
My recent visit to Ropewalk Dental was one of the best I've had. from booking my appointment to arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Dr Singh and Sue, who went above to make me feel comfortable and well informed. The practice was immaculately clean which added to my confidence in the practice. Dr Singh conducted a thorough clinical assessment and took the time to explain everything in detail which was incredibly helpful. The commitment to providing exceptional service is reflected in the approach to patient care. They are gentle, attentive and ensured I left feeling well informed and comfortable. I highly recommend Ropewalk Dental to anyone seeking excellent dental care.
Very happy had tooth out felt no pain during extraction and no pain after.. the dentist was very reassuring and his assistant to .receptionist was also very helpful very good experience overall thankyou
I was referred for treatment which I was worried about it took 10 minutes from start to end and I never felt a thing the dentist was friendly and professional
Had a swelling and managed to get an appointment without a wait, something my old dentist was unable to offer. The surgery is lovely and really clean. My tooth was drilled and filled without pain. Would recommend to anyone.
If I could give no stars it would've been none. I came in today with a friend who suffers with a great fear of dentist as she has had bad experiences before. The dentist here was rude and said inappropriate comments. Before being sedated as she cannot have injections repeated in her mouth whilst being alert/awake.. He said to her "well you've got tattoo so you can handle this", then went on to keep calling her a "he" because she has short hair. The lady in the room/nurse kept telling him she is a she and still ignored his assistant. Then my friend got up as she cannot have any needles and he turned round and said well get out then. Then she walked out and he turned to me and said I can get out now as well.. I'm absolutely fuming.. I have never experienced something like this in my life and she is currently in an absolute manic state. I will be taking this matter further as she had said numerous of times with has affected her mental well being and now having to experience what she went through today and doubt she will even be able to go to any other dentist.
First class dental practice. My wife, myself and my two adult children use this dentist for everything dental. We have found Mr Singh, and his staff, to be really caring, completely trustworthy, high on quality, gentle and totally fair in recommending treatment. The facilities are modern and up to date and we have all been completely satisfied.
This is a wonderful dentist, who went beyond the call of duty free of charge! to help an elderly resident at the care home I run. After an extraction Mr Singh thoroughly checked that everything was healing as it ought to and provided practical advice to reduce the swelling and stop the bleeding as well as further aftercare, with the emphasis on the word care. All too often the elderly are treated with disdain, but his kindly yet professional approach really helped to put our resident at ease, and she is normally a worrier as far as medical procedures are concerned, particularly dentristry. His knowledge and skill in applying a compress were evident and he good-naturedly answered the flurry of questions which were put to him. Sure enough, the extraction area healed perfectly as soon as his advice was followed and there have been no problems since then. We were impressed that Mr Singh showed genuine concern for our resident's well being and did not recommend any unnecessary or expensive follow up treatment. Our resident described the experience as 'pleasant'. Yes, pleasant. How often do you hear that word used following an extraction? Highly recommended.
If I could give it 0 stars I would.. I have never in my life been made to feel so low and depressed. Upon arrival I overheard the dentist calling me a guy which I am not I am a female. I have a phobia of needles and dentist. Then he went to to say because i have tattoos having needles inside my mouth was the same thing. He spoke to me with so much disrespect that I now am depressed. Worst experience of my 35 years of life
