Very good food. A good choice if you are tired of greasy fish and chips or other classical Scottish dishes. They really offer some cuisine : tasty,  fresh a creative twist. Good location. Reasonable prices. Best to reserve as it is small and tends to be full we are not the only ones that like it

Small restaurant but tasty. Not a lot of choice in the menu but quality of food is great.

Excellent restaurant - super fresh ingredients and very good presentation. Staff was so helpful and polite. Definitely recommend.

Inexperienced two boy waiters who tried hard but had no idea how to give good service. Show people to your seats would be a good start. Attention to detail was lacking. Chicken dish, the chicken was very dry and the pasta very oily. Salmon risotto dish was the best dish ordered. Wouldn’t return here.

First time there since its changed to McBains, lovely staff very friendly and helpful,good relaxing atmosphere ,meal was really good not something I could have cooked better which is always good when u go out and look forward to it and pay for a meal not that I'm a chef but you know what I mean.
