Pleasant enough in here. Toilets weren't particularly well kept in my opinion but other than that we had a nice quiet drink with the family after q long walk
A very nice layout, lovely staff. I'm going to give this minus 1 star though because of trouble causers on a Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately, this seems to be an issue with a few pubs around this area.
Had the £10 special good value for money but had to send one steak back 3 times as it was under cooked Had problems with children running about unsupervised around our table and throwing gunge onto walls of which the stains it left will be a hard job trying to remove them.would have really enjoyed it here if it hadn't been for kids running amok Don't think we will be going back for a meal again
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Recent new owners have put a lot of hard work into the place and it shows. Good food and drink, dog friendly would highly recommend
Brightly lit, friendly place went in to meet family not seen in a long while. The atmosphere was welcoming, didn't take long to get served and the prices were reasonable. The parking is good with plenty of spaces.
Good choice of dishes, portion size not bad, chicken a little dry and needed more sauce. Staff friendly and helpful.
Always amazing when i come in here, the bar staff are so attentive and so welcoming with me and my children. Food is great and dog friendly to which is always a bonus. Will definitely be back.
Great place to hang out with your family or friends. Delicious food and nice atmosphere, love the purple and green colored interior. Food is quite cheap and drinks are nice too!
What an embarrassment of an establishment! Booked for 20 people for a Christmas meal. From start to finish was terrible! Food was either burnt or undercooked. 5 of 6 kids meals came out with all adults side dishes, 15 minutes later 12 adult meals came out, 10 minutes after adult and child meal came out, 10 minutes after final adult meal came out. As you can imagine we were not happy. Went and canceld deserts as they clearly couldn't be trusted with those! When I complained I was told the kitchen couldn't cope with such a large group? If it can't why book us in 4 weeks ago? They forgot the last dish apparently? The manager said the food was more than acceptable,was offered a bottle of prosecco as an apology? A £8 bottle wont solve your problems! Cost over £200! Have also contacted Marsdens pubs as clearly a disgrace to the name! Take my advice don't waste your time or money!!
What fabulous place to eat lauren and heather two of the nicest hosts you could ask for we are going to make this one of our favorite watering holes
