My husband’s band NUB opened up for ‘63 Monroe and Dolly Mix at The Richmond Tavern this past Friday. Great venue! The sound was amazing in there and loved the atmosphere. All the locals were friendly and added to the charm of this historical establishment. So happy to have been able to experience it!!

Been many times..service is great,even when busy and a band is playing. Great people and a decent enough billiards table to win some beers on. Overall a really good place to kick back have a cold one and meet really good people and have a good time. Recommended for unwinding and having a good time 100%Food: 1/5

I adore this place! Once you become a regular there and are a good patron, you become part of this kind of "family" - it creates a very friendly environment! The bartenders all do their best in every and any situation and I've never had any personal complaints about the service! You sometimes have a couple eccentric folk come in and shift the mood, but that's just downtown London!  My fiance and I have also used the room service there and it's not as bad as people make it out to be, though it is very minimalist in terms of what's in the room themselves. The prices are very reasonable, however!  I always enjoy my time here, it's my first stop on any bar crawl!

We went here for some drinks and to be honest, we just went inside to watch the band play because they were phenomenal. I really loved the vibe and it we really had a great time to begin with. Such a lovely place with a retro vibe and good people.

This Ark Aid Mission is really heaven on earth. There is love, joy, good and cordial relationship to one another. Most importantly special tender care they give to  their clients.

Great atmosphere and always live entertainment from the roaring 20’s to death metal. Whatever you fancy music wise they’ll have it. Beer on tap is always cold.Service: 5/5

New to London. Did a walk in at this bar to check the atmosphere, it was a disturbing experience.  I walked in and everyone was giving me side eye like I didn't belong. Then the bartender asked me what I want in a voice that said I don't want to serve you. I asked for a menu the bartender says I don't have one, we only serve beer. I said do you serve any other drinks, he says of course. I say can I see a drink menu he says No. I walked out.  I've been to alot of bars and worked in a lot of bars and I've never been treated like that. I believe I was treated as such because I am a black guy. I believe this bar was discriminating against me because of the color of my skin.  How unfortunate, they lost my business, and I will make sure none of my friends experience that as well.  I also may get the alcohol and gaming commission to take a further look at this bar. As I don't support businesses that promote discrimination  What a pity

Saw two bands here tonight The outbrief candles and Chim Cheroo. Both excellent. Bartender was awesome. Beer was cheap. Can't ask for moreService: 5/5

I don't know what the hell I witnessed Saturday night, the owner appeared drunk and was verbally assaulting the band, throwing glasses at staff, it was an off-putting visit. I wanted to have a good time at the oldest bar, but from what I saw, I cannot reccomend anyone go there safely.Food: 2/5
