I never actually tasted lobster so the taste shocked me at the first bite. They were very generous with the lobster. I really enjoyed the warm cheesy meal on a cold day. I didn't wait too long for my meal once I ordered. The portion was the right size and I thoroughly enjoyed my Mac and cheese.
Had come across Bob's Lobster on Instagram and the food looked amazing so couldn't wait to try it. Discovered it was £20 !! for a single lobster roll so my partner and I decided to share. Whilst the brioche roll and filling were was tasty, the portion size was shockingly small for the price, think we got 2 bites each from our half, so a fiver a bite in other words, and most of that was roll don't waste your money guys!
I was really excited to try Bob’s at Borough Market. Ended up ordering the Mussels and Bacon Chowder £8. When I got my order, I was so surprised by the portion size. The bowl was only filled up halfway! I asked the cashier why the portion was not filled up and she kind of snarled at me and said “that’s just the portion size”. Now…if I’m going to pay £8 for a bowl of soup, it better be filled up all the way. I didn’t have a chance to take a photo of it as BM over the weekend was chaotic finding a place to sit, but my friends were all appalled with the portion size as well. That said, the soup was decently tasty but I would never go to Bob’s again, so enter at your own risk if you feel like getting half portions at full price. So many other better places at BM who don’t try to skimp and whose customer service is far better.
It was pretty good and tastefull but a bit small for 20£ Anyway i enjoyed the experience
Got the lobster Mac & cheese for £15, had maybe 3 small bits of lobster in the whole thing. Incredibly stingy for the price paid. Tasty enough but really expected a lot more. Wouldn’t have bothered if I’d known.
We had a lobster roll, not cheap at £19 each but honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten pure indulgence. The guys running it were lovely too.
Lobsters Roll can do no wrong and this does not disappoint!
Very nice and fresh had the lobster mac and cheese. Very generous with the lobster. Shrimp roll was lovely and fresh. Lovely crispy fries. Be back again
Got food poisoning : We ate here on xmas eve and unfortunately spent 3 days very ill, obviously xmas was cancelled. Had the mac n cheese which wasn't very tasty at the time but didn't think it was off. We were in a group and only those of us that ate here got sick, we also had a busy morning so this was the only thing we had eaten all day so pretty sure it was this.
