Booked lunch for 3 on a Monday dinner and travelled from Lincoln on the strength of the reviews, extensive and varied menu.nnWe were not disappointed.nnWe received a very warm welcome in lovely surroundings from the Attentive, Friendly, Polite & Extremely Professional Staff.nThey are a credit to their employers.nnThe Food? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!nWonderfully Presented, Extremely Generous Portions & without doubt I can't remember better.nAll credit to the kitchen team.nnReturn visits are guaranteed.
Avoid at all costs, unless you want to get intoxicated and wait to grow white hairs. Very slow service and not functional. The cook was spinning round like he didn't know what he was doing, I didn't understand the role of the young waiter, pretending to be busy walking around for no reason at all. There is in essence only one person taking orders and she was very tired. Completely forgot about our order, blamed it on the ticketing service or maybe they didnt pay the subscription on the ticketing system and the trial run out on our order only, but not the orders after us. Served a table of 7 that arrived after us, before we got our food. Food was undercooked, dough still raw.nWe used to be regulars here, but it seems they don't want our money anymore. At least we only got charged only for the gammon tonight. Overall, disgraceful service.nLast time we came round they didn't want to serve us because we arrived 10 min before the kitchen would close. This time they made us wait 1h20 min and serve everyone else but us.nI can understand having a bad day/evening but it's becoming more of a regular thing here. Not gonna come back and I don't recommend it, unless they change the cook, and reorganise the staff. Very bad management that leads to so much waste.
