Despite being early in the evening, just gone 5, it was relatively busy. However, despite not booking, we were able to get a table. Our waitress was very friendly, polite and attentive.nnHowever, in general, the food was disappointing. The tomato and cheese quiche just looked very sad despite the happy face on it and was meh in both presentation and taste. The fish and chips were deemed very good but why do you serve the fish on the chips? It's annoying having to take the fish off the chips to ensure proper salt and vinegar coverage on the chips! The halloumi salad was okay but overpriced for what is essentially a lot of lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber served with an over the top amount of chillies.nnThe salad bar was not looked after well with food bits everywhere see photos.nnAlongside the above, though the toilets were clean there was a serious lack of soap in the dispensers and only one free standing liquid soap bottle.nnIn summary, it just does not compare to the food, service or atmosphere at their Swindon branch.
If I could leave less than 1* I would. Manager was atrocious, no greeting, no manners, took us to the table literally chucked menus on the table. 15 mins later nobody came to take our order so I had to go to the bar to ask for someone to come and serve us. When the food eventually arrived it was cold, not even warm. It was supposed to be 2 ultimate breakfasts, I went back up to the bar to question why there were no mushrooms on the plate, to which I was told ‘oh yes, should of told you we’ve ran out’. Also supposed to be 2 tomatoes I was served half a cherry tomato I will upload a photo below! absolutely appalling experience will not be returning.
Staff were great, recommended drink options, Lovely clean venue. Fni my server was very attentive, food came quickly. Great location next to Travel Lodge.
Big thank you to harvester tonight for there amazing services towards me and my family today, having an autistic child is hard but they made him feel so welcome everytime we come in, being so polite and engaging with him to make him feel welcome and comfortablenCan't wait to come back
Service very slow. Over anhour to get our food. Steak full of fat, peas like bullets and a handful of chips. For £20 we expect better. The onion rings were dripping fat and not cooked. We told them there was no hand soap in the men's toilet, and still not addressed when we left 2 hours later. I just hope the staff don't use them toilets. Overall experience, very disappointing. The harvester in our city is excellent suits not the brand, its the place.
