Story

Welcome to the Indian Voojan in the heart of the bustling and colourful district of Montpellier. We pride ourselves as being the best Indian restaurant in Gloucestershire, sourcing the finest fresh ingredients and offering a service second to none.

We can cater for 120 people across both the main restaurant and exclusive Voojan Lounge for private parties, celebrations and corporate events. We believe the past, present and continuing success of the Indian Voojan relies on our very special team of people with staff hand picked from the four corners of the Indian sub Continent.
The Indian Voojan has already received numerous awards since it first opened in 2008 including the "Regional winner of Authentic Indian cuisine 2008" and the winner of the "Best Indian Restaurant in Cheltenham for the Lyca Tiffin Cup Voted by You in 2011"

Good restaurant, really good atmosphere the only negative for me I don't like when the chicken tikka masala and the kebab for starter look plastic. I think because of the food coloring.. otherwise everything was good .
We booked a table for four people on a Saturday. The service and waiting experience was not the usual that day. They have a busy take away and delivery service which in my opinion distracted the eat in experience.. So our service was late and when arrived some of us were missing mains and rice.. I think they need to separate the two services from each other. This was just chaos on our night. However our food was great in the end. Perhaps this was an unlucky NIGHT
The food was nice and the atmosphere was quiet. Nice staff that were accommodating. Thought the price was slightly expensive for a sit-down indian but we enjoyed the experience and would go again. Food did seem slightly spicier than normal dishes from other restaurants we have dined at.Food: 4/5
The best restaurant I have been to in Cheltenham. From the food I had to the service I experienced, everything was amazing. The staff were excellent and the food was exquisite. Even the ambiance of the place was out of this world. Out of all the places you could possibly choose to go to, I would highly recommend going to Indian Voojan.
We booked to go here after a day at the races and food was okay but not the best. The staff were very disorganised and didn't know what they were doing half the time, we had to ask several time to get the right drinks on our table. Also the older lady that was serving was very rude and shouty and loud whenever she came to our table serving food or clearing our plates. Not a great experience! Also watch out for the gratituety charge on the bill that they sneak on! Worst experience of a sit down curry I've ever had
Friendly service and can't fault it but not sure about the food. The poppadoms were old and you could smell the staleness of it. I could smell the stale oil. King prawn naga smelt awful. Didn't taste nice at all. I hope they make improvements in their food making techniques.
Dropped in for a late evening curry without booking. Service was excellent, food was great, only grumble was the cost of a glass of wine was £8.95 but otherwise it was super.Food: 5/5
Nice place and the food was OK. I thought it was a bit cheeky that they add the gratuity fee on the bill automatically. Creates a bit of an awkward situation should you ask them to take it off. It's not the USA!Food: 3/5
A good Indian restaurant were we ate dinner. They have good naans with enjoyable dishes. The interior is functional and the service good
We booked this table through chat with a gentlemen named Ali . He was very helpful and responded back within 15 mins .very prompt . We arrived at the restaurant to have our meal . They were very welcoming and showed us to our table . The food was absolutely lovely .can't fault the food and the service from the staff in there . The only downfall I found . Was as soon as they gave us the menu for drinks . They came back few minutes later when had not had a chance to look properly . Apart from that the place was lovely .so clean . I would highly recommend this restaurant as the quality of the food was spot on Vanessa
