"Red Lion is a friendly village Real Ale pub. Locals and visitors enjoy the fun and relaxed ambiance with the pub's cask marque accredited Real Ale, a great selection on Draught and spirits as well as yummy home cooked food from our pub kitchen, the Lions Den, it's an easy fit. Sunday Sessions are a brilliant way to finish the weekend off with live music from some of our most talented local musicians. With lovely outdoor spaces from our blooming beer garden to one side, the sheltered "Lodge" on the other and the street side seating allows us the whole days sunshine. Our latest yumminess are our weekend breakfast bagels homemade, of course and our ingredients are mostly locally sourced and of the best quality."

First ever Visit after traveling past many times. I was very surprised how small the place is! Great atmosphere though, very well decorated and good layout. We booked a large table which put us in a room at the back, I have mixed feelings about this as it was nice to have our own space, the kitchen entrance was in the same room so bustling traffic was coming through constantly and if the door was left open, it was freezing! Food was fantastic though, I had a parmy and although a little well done tasted amazing
Had a great evening tonight, much appreciated after a bad experience last month. Our party of 6 had a room of our own and we’re very well looked after with a complimentary meal and wine. The food was amazing, an interesting menu more diverse than usual pub grub and well prepared. We will return again and heartily recommend, thanks Greg and team x
Brilliant local pub. We secured a really cosy spot next to the fire, enjoyed a great range of beers and ate a delicious lunch! Food was really fantastic. Great choice for veggies and meat eaters alike. Friendly landlord.
Gorgeous little pub, the food was excellent and very generous size. I went with my husband, daughter and son in law and were greeted by very lovely staff. Would definitely go again.
Oh dear very poor. Having been here about 4 years ago, we were looking forward to returning as it used to be very friendly. Far from it this time. A very survey, pony tailed bar man ' greeted us ' with a "yeah" when we asked if they were serving food. We sat at out table and were ignored. I returned to the bar and asked if they had a menu. " Yeah over there" was his reply. He looked completely apathetic and miserable. We left.
Beautiful place fantastic food, lovely staff and so well priced unlike pickled pheasant who were super rude when we tried to eat there !
They were understaffed, but felt very relaxed and it did not impact our visit, the food was most definitely worth the wait, the guy doing all the cooking on his own did very well, as he was rushed off his feet, will definitely be back! And recommend
Lovely country pub with open fire, real ale and serves food. Menu had loads to choose from, but we both had a Parmy Chicken Schnitzel. Food was excellent and great value. Would definitely recommend.
