Superb carvery and friendly staff. Got to be the most generous portions of meat I've ever had at a carvery and was delicious. Only downside was I had no room for dessert. You do need to book ahead though as is very popular.Recommended dishesSunday Carvery, Roast Beef

Lovely food and prompt service with nice hot plates when meals are served

I visited on the 11th September with my Mum in a wheelchair and my dad who is deaf and wobbly on his feet. I took my dad to chose carvery for himself and my mum. I was then going to take the plates separately back to the table and then sort my dinner. The gentleman serving the carvery arranged for a waitress to take the meals back to the table for me. I never expected the high quality of service and great food - which is a rare combination. All the staff where extremely helpful and I could not thank them enough. Great people, great food = fantastic place.

Best Sunday Roast I've had for years

Gorgeous food but sadly they've hiked up the carvery price and reduced the portion size surely potatoes are cheap enough that we could have more than 4 each?!. Veggie meals were generous. Vegetarian options: Delicious and generous.

I take my wife here when we're having a treat. Every time we have visited we have had great service & fabulous food. It's not cheap but you need to make sure you don't have anything to eat for a few hours before you go because the portions are huge. The precautions they have put in place because of covid19 put me totally at ease. From the cleaning regime, to the one way system that they have implemented, they appear to have got it spot on. Well done to all the staff & long may the Fox House continue to operate.

Very nice place to go for food and drinks. As soon as you walk in you get a nice warm feeling the temperature is just right the staff are very friendly and the food is great. The prices of the food is very good for the portion size. Would always recommended eating here.

Fantastic, good food, good service, lovely staff, top quality all round. Great value too. By far the best for miles around here. Sunday carvery is to die for.

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch. Very tasty, vegetables cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chief and all staff.
