My visit was ok. Beer fairly good. Looking a little run down, wouldn't want to eat there

Called in for a quick drink as had been in some years before. Lovely quaint little pub - however on this occasion the ginger haired lady behind the bar was extremely rude. Not sure what her issue was but seemed to take an instant dislike to me. Perhaps it was my use of manners she disliked!!! Such a shame as ruined the previous experience I had of the little pub and probably won't visit again.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. really hard to find a place to park out front of the pub in the evening. Friendly staff at the pub and the breakfast was great.

The red lion hosted a recent fun run which my son took part in. The pub was welcoming to all the runners. Didn't eat there but some did and it looked nice
