Everything about The Reading Rooms matched or exceeded our expectations apart from the following: The space for the bin in the kitchen is too small for the bin. Consequently the bin is broken. We were so pleased with the standard of accommodation that we left a gift for we had to assume the caretaker. We also left glowing feedback. We had no way of contacting the ostensible host and there was never any acknowledgement of either the gift or the feedback. The unfriendly approach to communication with guests changes this feedback from its original five stars to three stars. Accommodation 9/10. Hosting 2/10.
Beautiful, remote, quiet, dog friendly, walks on the doorstep, cosy, everything you could need or want! An absolute idyllic spot of Yorkshire loveliness! Love it
