Ordered online click and collect, it said there were 9 of the item in stock at this store. I got an email saying the order was being processed. Having then waited for about 4 hours and getting no more advice I went down there, 3 miles and 3 back. They had no idea what had happened to my order but guessed that they didn't have the items, I was told to go home and wait. It was a number of little seedling pots, so I went and had a look if they were on the shelf. Turned out that the 24 pot item was now only 12 pots for the same price. My item does not seem to exist.nWhat really annoyed me was the incompetence and lack of concern.
One of my preferred places to buy decorative items, furniture and accessories for home. Huge outlet, wide range of products available at reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces free for 2 hours. Easy access from the main road. Lots of garden stuffs also available.
The store is not a huge one but is packed with a wide range of goods from home repair to pet and garden supplies, china, sweets and seasonal decorations. It can be a little cramped at times because of the number of shelves and displays. The checkouts can get crowded and the queuing area is not too large. The prices are very reasonable on the whole, there is a carpark, and the store is very convenient for the train station and bus stops. The store is all on one level with no stairs to negotiate. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me.
Manager Micky is clueless and has no customer service skills!!nHad an item showing as a different SKU compared to online, and when i typed the SKU in their website it shows a different item.. she thought its the same.. when it is clearly a different colour and the features are different!! All because it has the same name? Absolutely awful attitude to her too. Would not recommend this store.
The store itself is an absolute eyesore. Graffiti on the side, smashed up and dirty trolley covers, scrappy litter filled flower bed and blocked drains which recreate Lake Windermere every time it rains. Really, really needs someone to fix the issues. I did report these via their website but they ignored it.
