Good I store, Farmfoods nearby, nothing else
It's okay they do need to have more people on the tills as this is a very bad thing as it gets so busy past the lunchtime hours. We have been there myself and my boss for work equipment and the queues are massive, the staff aren't helpful on the floor or at the tills. Found the staff on the tills to be ignorant and no service with a smile anymore. Can't even manage to be polite. Would not recommend this place also their prices are excruciatingly painful on the wallet, as all products sold here you can get on Amazon within 24hours and they deliver it to you, for free may I add and half the price you pay here. Will not be using The Range anytime soon.
Although parking is always tricky here never seems enough it's worth a walk around the shop. Christmas section is nicely laid out. Staff were helpful. BUT this place needs a loo. And maybe a coffee shop. You'll stay longer.
Went in with my 88 year old mother. This is a large store to go round.. after spending 250.00 we received a parking fine for 100 pounds. For staying to long
Went in to buy a lawn mower, great price, cheapest around even compared to online prices. 1st time I've been in but will be going back soon. Looked to be a great store with a big range of house supplies etc. Prices looked really good. Store was quiet. Staff really helpful and very pleasant. There's an Iceland attached to the store too which was handy as I picked up some veggies for Sunday dinner whilst there!
Just to make everyone aware, the range has now got a new policy where children under the age of 18 are not allowed to enter without an adult, my two black daughters went into the store to spend their birthday money and were aloud to enter by the security guard to them be followed and escorted out of the building, there were no signs on the door explaining this so called policy and as you can imagine my girls who were 11 and 13 years old were upset and embarrassed after doing no harm what so ever. I received the call from my child that they had been kicked out. As you can imagine my blood was boiling. We went to the store to be greeted by an extremely rood security guard. Once spoken to the manager she assured us that this was the new policy and that she would be making sure there are visible signs to make people aware. My daughter's felt targeted by this security member and we will not be going back to the range And by the way they didn't log a formal complaint.
Love the Range but always seem to buy more than I intended. Picked up stationery, birthday gifts, air fresheners and rope on my latest trip!
Large branch but not very well arranged. You can find some good deals there, but the prices are for some reason more expensive than other branches.
