If you are on a diet i would fast for a couple of days as the burgers etc are huge and very filling and also tastier than the other 2 Burger brands, and the BBQ ribs Mmm the meat just fell of the bone. and first class servise.Food: 5/5
Ordered tonight for the first time and thought we would try a local burger joint. Was really looking forward to it but so disappointing. Took 2 hours to arrive. Forgot to send our mozzarella sticks. Instead of offering to send over, offered a refund. One word for the burger - dry. There was no sauce and look at the amount of bacon... Pro = fries were good 2/5 This cost £25 for 2 burgers 2 fries. Not good enough. Recommend you to go to McDonalds.
Stumbled upon this place by accident while car shopping and talk about a lucky find. The restaurant itself is pretty basic - it's designed more for take-a way and deliveries, I think - but the burgers are incredible. I have coeliac disease but their gluten free rolls are brilliant, so that wasn't a problem. This does mean I couldn't get fries, which was disappointing at the start, but the burgers are so filling that I didn't care by the time I was finished. I would, however, always recommend a separate fryer for fries in places like this, but it might not be worth it from their point of view, which I understand. My wife and I agreed that they were some of the best burgers we've had and the prices are very reasonable. A must visit if you happen to be out that way and most definitely worth ordering from! I don't know if you can order directly but just remember that JustEat etc. take a big chunk of these small businesses' profits, so go direct if you can. Dietary restrictions: Catered to coeliac disease and the chef knew what he was talking about. It does mean you can't have fries but the burgers are more than filling on their own.
Cauliflower wings were just cauliflower florets deep fried in batter, with a tub of sauce. Not really worth £6 I’m afraid. The New York style cheesecake was chewy, not what I was expecting and not the style of New York I’d expect. The burger was good
I'll start on a high. Wyatt burger was actually very good. Cooked well and good taste. Came very well packaged, nice and hot and also not squished which was a bonus. Sweet potato fries were also very good. Somehow survived the trip home without going soggy, another bonus. Moving on to the Pit buffet. Brisket: just give us sliced fatty brisket. Pulled beef in what seemed to be sat in water was tasteless, tough to eat and just boring. Wings: undercooked, warmed in an oven or maybe even a microwave congealed, stringy, flibbly and just not pleasant. Ribs: okay. Dry and tough but okay flavour. Mac and cheese: some pasta with grated cheese on top and a bit of congealed sauce. Slaw was good apparently though! Potatoes were mostly dry chorizo, was actually quite looking forward to the potatoes. Cowboy beans were literally a tin of Heinz with a bit of BBQ sauce, tomato and onion ‍ Free churros were a nice bonus and ended the meal on a high. I can understand proper smoked meat would be twice the price and much harder work but atleast show some of the meat some flames, LOOKING AT YOU CHICKEN WINGS. Stop pulling your brisket, give us some decent barky slices. And also stop drowning everything in sauce. Not sure if we have been blessed with epic smoked meat in the past from the likes of maybe a few years ago reds true BBQ etc but would not be coming back to The Ranch for the BBQ meat. 100% coming back for the burgers though as we actually really enjoyed the burgers and fries!
Really good food and decent sized burgers for the price with lots of filling! Mac and cheese is delicious and the cheese sauce they use is divine! Really lovely staff, would definitely go again
The burgers are sizeable and you could get away with just having one on its own as a meal. Chips are the best I’ve had in a while, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. My partner said he liked them which is high praise coming from him. Really enjoyed the food, it’s well packaged for takeout and contains little to no plastic. Even the cutlery is wooden. It is a very small place and the only seating is in the window on tall stools.
It's a shame really because the food is super tasty but ruined by a raw burger not just pink waited 20 minutes for this. They did refund me for the burger, the young girl serving people could do with a bit of training for customer service.
We had a really disappointing experience with the quality of the food. Sides were okay, jalapeno poppers were the best thing. Onion and garlic fries were covered in raw onion and garlic powder which was rank. The main thing...the burgers were poor. Burgers were bland and the cheese used is very poor quality catering packs of super thin slices. My partners burger had the tiniest bit of bacon and my burgers "bacon jam" is laughable. Place really needs some improvement, has great potential but needs looking at
Great place for a burger, all cooked fresh. I tried the haloumi burger and fries-well tasty. Fairly new place, I'm sure the atmosphere will improve as it gets busierFood: 5/5
