This was a last minute late night stop for us, trying to find somewhere to eat in at around 21:30-21:45 - most places we found finished serving at 21:00 so our options were limited. Foundry 39 serve food until 22:00. The food we had was nice and tasty but the choices were a little limited for someone who needs gluten free. The cocktails we had were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
When I walked in the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great. I ordered a Chicken budda bowl which looked great when it came, only to find out the chicken was pink inside. They offered me the meal for free, but I was not impressed as I’d eaten most of it already!
Didn't look like the most fun place to go from the outside but inside it's a while different world. Very nice place to sit, chat, drink and eat. Prices were fine and food was good. Very good staff which came over multiple times tonask if all was fine. Burgers and pizza's were good as well as the drinks. Stayes here longer as expected upfront which was a good thing.
Wow! What a great dinner! After having looked to book a table at several other places for dinner and coming up short - we decided to book a table here! Using the 3 snacks for £14 deal + some sides and drinks we had a great, filling meal for 2 for only £23! the snacks were great value and the waiters were very friendly. I WILL be coming back!
Great variety of food and drinks. It was the day of the Scotland Vs Ireland rugby match so the food service was extremely slow. Perhaps more staff on in the kitchen for days like that. Overall, had a good experience though. Highly recommend a visit.

Service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was comfortable and unpretentious. For a simple walk-in, this was one of the best dining experiences we had during our time in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!
Jack and Rhys were absolutely amazing. we came in on a Sunday and they made us feel right at home. We are from the states on our honeymoon and they hooked us up with a free drink and delicious concoctions. I can't say enough about how nice Jack was to my husband and I, he made us laugh, gave us good suggestions and was amazing at making great drinks. 10/10 would recommend!! Thank you
I'm a bit obsessed with the small plates, as a veggie it's great you have so much delicious choice. Staff are always friendly, I felt welcomed like an old friend and food is delivered quickly. I rediscovered the place a couple of weeks back and it's becoming my preferred go to place for a catch up with friends
Beautiful venue and atmosphere. Plenty of chat going on. Delicious cocktails. Quick service with server coming to check if we wanted more drinks regularly. Music choice was fab!
