Been here a few times for lunch, the homemade soup was delicious and the homemade steak pie.. omg its to die for, and the portions are great. Staff are very pleasant and helpful

Good friendly pub. Decor a wee bit dated but the best ever selection of beers on tap you will find anywhere. Pub quiz on Thursday nights is brilliant and a good laugh.

Went here for lunch today and to say i was disappointed was an understatement. We ordered chicken pakora the chicken inside was very hard and dry then my neice ordered macaroni and chips the chips were very pale and undercooked we told waitress we would just take garlic bread instead, when it came it tasted awful i actually had to spit it out i let my aunt taste it she did the exact same it actually tasted as if it was off my aunt explained this to the waitress and asked her to smell it stating she thought mabye the garlic butter was off to which the waitress replied it just smells of garlic she took the meals away not one person came to ask why we were unhappy with our meal just took our money and walked away. The barman was really lovely and very helpful but thats where it stops total waste of £20 very very disappointed.
