Friendly welcoming traditional pub. Good selection of beers and gins and we had a great evening meal. Dog friendly. We were shown to our rooms and everything explained which was very good. The room was nice with a good view and a comfortable bed. The shower was just sufficient so could be improved to make it 100%. Would go again for sure though.
Took my mum here for her 70th Birthday and we were served by Jasmine & Kayleigh who were delightful servers! Quickly corrected my meal error, thank you. The food was delicious and the window view is spectacular. Thank you for singing happy birthday to my mum, what a wonderful surprise! We will ensure to come back for a Sunday roast. Came for a Sunday roast.nLovely pub with a real country village feel. Staff all friendly and welcoming, seated promptly.nThe food was absolutely unreal. Best roast I’ve had in ages. The gravy was another level & I haven’t stopped thinking about it since!nHave already recommended lots of my family and friends!
We had such a great stay at The Quarrymans Arms this weekend! From the second we arrived we were met with friendly greetings from the staff, who were at hand throughout our stay to ensure we had the perfect time. The room was wonderful, super cosy and had all the amenities we needed. We had a fantastic dinner in the pub in the evening, the food was great really recommend the Festive pie!! as well as a lovely breakfast in the morning with beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay, it was clean, cosy with a great atmosphere - would love to come and stay again thank you!
Hadn't been here for quite a few years. Went on a Monday night for dinner with a friend. Lovely atmosphere, enticing menu and the faggots with mash was absolutely sensational and a perfectly generous portion too.nnAlso good to have an alcohol free beer on tap Goram as you would expect from a Butcombe pub. Really good value as well 3 pints each and a main course came in at £35 eachnnWill definitely be heading back again soon.
