It's a great place food is good. Recommend that each other after lockdown
Very kind and attentive staff! We had some hard time to find a place for a drink coming from London and it seemed like they couldn't give a table for us, but even after rejected, they shouted out for us to come back as a table freed. Bit cold bar but food was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend it!
There was two evening staff and it was the Tuesday night before the lockdown and it was so busy, they had so much to do because of all the restrictions. Well done to them, they will know who they are. This is a good town Pub!

Had the Purple Dog Burger, and not dressing it up, it was really really good. Great flavours, tender and juicy. Sadly the fries let the whole thing down. Tasted like the cheapest frozen chips available, and the regular price is really high, would expect better fries. But back to the burger!! Yes, just so good!!!
