Went inside 30 years ago...excellent. ..if the standard has been maintained it would be 5 stars....hope it has.
Vickie and her staff are excellent. Great selection of beers and spirits. Covid prevention measures are on point. I don't like crowds at the moment, for obvious reasons but even when it's busy I feel safe. Thank you, dudes.

Excellent pub, adhering to the Covid restrictions, made us feel very welcome. Very friendly staff who served us with drinks and food. Competetive prices and tasty food. Highly recommended.
Just stayed here, made to feel welcome on arrival, room was great we stayed in room 10 on the top floor facing into the square some road works going on outside but it didn’t bother us, breakfast was good a big hand to all the staff who were very helpful and worked hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable
