The Pottery

never been before so thought we'd try it out and we weren't disappointed!! the curry was absolutely delicious and the waffles were amazing and perfect for sharing, even the kids enjoyed it. very low wait times for both food and drinks, host was lovely and so was the young lad that served our meals. Will definitely visit again

4* rating as there is always a good wait for your food but we like to fill up on 2 for £7 cocktails and I was pretty impressed! Nicely presented and couldn't go wrong with the price!. Wouldn't recommend the frozen daiquiri tho!. Food is always good with some added sides!. Yum! Parking: Don't forget to put your reg in or you will be fined for parking at premises!

Pre-booked our table. Was nice and quiet with only a handful of people. Unfortunately they mixed the steaks up. I got served the rare steak and my partner the medium- well-done so after scraping the Mac and cheese off his we swapped steaks. Told the server who apologised and walked off. Food was quite tasty and would go again.

We visited this little gem a few weeks ago and were very pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The menu is more varied than most pubs and our meals didn't disappoint. Both food and staff were lovely. We went again a few weeks later and they were dealing with a leak and a problem with one of they're grills so had a restricted menu. It may have taken a little longer but staff were still really polite and the food they were able to sell was fab. I can't wait to try out the new menu when it becomes available!!

Group of 21 of us were well looked after, all the staff were great and friendly. Food all came out together and was hot. Everyone enjoyed their meals and felt it was great value for money which is rare these days. Also had breakfast there another morning which was good! Sophie I'm presuming was the manager was fantastic. If you want decent food at a good price with good service, you wont go far wrong with the Pottery.

My wife and I eat here at least once per week usually. This year we booked to eat here on Christmas Day, the first time that we have done so. The food was excellent, as usual. The presentation of each course was inventive, showing that a real effort had been made to make the occasion special and the staff on duty were happy, attentive and made every effort to ensure that a great time was had by us all! We will definitely be dining here next Christmas too!! Special mentions go to the Chef, Dave, for his inventive presentation and to Sophie, Kirsty and Emma for helping to make the day a special one!!

Service was good today. The fish was really good with light, crispy batter. Peas were cold unfortunately but we still enjoyed our meal. Frankie was our waitress. She was very polite

Called in there for refreshments at 9.22pm sat 16/10/2022 headed towards the pottery the main entrance door and the door was fully open so I could see that it was still open, as I entered the bar there were three people sat down at a table and I noticed that one was a manager from previous visits. The manager was sitting with two other members of staff and was facing me, the manager asked me while still seated what did I want? As there is no food available due to staff shortages, I replied that I would like a drink instead as I’m here and the manager replied that due to staff shortages I won’t be able to have a drink I said that I’ve called by in the past a bit later than this and the staff were helpful. I was refused any service and won’t be passing by that way again for anything due to the manager’s attitude towards me, he has a stern look and doesn’t look the type to be of much help. I’ve been to the pottery on and off for more than 15yrs and from my observations this manager doesn’t know his marketplace at all and left me feeling alienated with the three people just watching me leave the pottery.

Food was fresh and cooked well. My son who is a massive foody who is also autistic and says it as it is. Said it was the best place he's had food and begging me to bring him back. They didn't have any burgers which we were told on arrival and the kids really wanted burgers. Overall extremely pleased. Food was perfect and great value for money

Love the new look! Home made waffles are delicious! Garden stunning, lovely booths, great live music, and sky sports. Team were super attentive, whats not to love?
