Fantastic Nepalese food absolutely fresh and tasty and all staff so lovely and friendly will go back there again
Really enjoyed our meal last week. Excellent service , very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Amazing food, so tasty and reasonably priced. We ate early, so very quiet and lacked atmosphere on this occasion but that was our choice. Will certainly return. Thank you!
Had dinner here last Thursday with my dad and sister. My sister had the Himali chicken which was nice but a little bland. Dad had the Goan fish curry sea bass which he really enjoyed. I had the paneer tikka masala as a main not a side and it was easily the best paneer dish I have ever had, both in the UK and Asia - I highly recommend it!!
Wonderful meal and great service. Haven't had a Gurkha meal before, but will certainly be going back.
We had gone last Saturday , the restaurant was about to close but they still served us with a great hospitality. The food we ordered were so delicious and fresh. Momos size were big! I highly recommend this restaurant because I will be visiting again in near future.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here with my husband after being recommended. Given a lovely covid safe welcome and seated quickly. Drinks order taken and delivered by a nice friendly waitress and then food order taken. Both starters and mains were gorgeous and mains was plentiful. Lovely beef and nice selection of veg. Staff lovely and attentive, polite and friendly. Definitely will be going again.
Yogen Sir Thank you for taking our bookings of 9/Table in a very shot notice. It was a great atmosphere. Food was excellent . Once again thank you Yogen Ji for the outstanding hospitality.
Although a welcoming and warming interior the Crown is nothing more than a shadow of it's former self. Before hand you could go in, have a nice quiet drink, play some pool, and play some music on the duke box. Now however you pay roughly £13-18 for one main which elsewhere would get you much more. As I sat down I felt harassed by the owners as they came to my table 4 separate times to ask how my experience was. The food however is amazing and to die for, I just wouldn't pay £14 for sausage and mash. Especially when I received a street rumour that most food they use to frozen not fresh.
Thank you Crown Inn for hosting the festive retail therapy event, in support of Many Tears Animal Rescue. The photos are of my up-cycled accessories stall today.
Very clean and hospitable. Obviously a place to bring young children with their own play area. Visited at very short notice and had a table in the separate dining room although you can sit in the large open plan bar/lounge area. I had pate to start which had a very tasty accompaniment of relish and the welcome addition of a warm crusty roll. Main course was surf and turf which was well presented and tasted delicious. Too full for dessert but will come back again to try. Very friendly place and recommended
