The food was really good and the staff are very friendly. The service is quick and the food came out within 20 minutes. The atmosphere is really good and it is well worth a visit after a long day of walking! The guiness is spot on as well!

Great wee place, staff were very friendly & helpful, no reservations but accepted us with a smile, food was delicious, also gluten free options for my son, which was a bonus. Very reasonably priced. Definitely go again. Sorry about pics, was starving so started to eat first then took pics.

The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food—everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is great place to have a romantic dinner for 2 or a family dinner. It is a good bar to catch up with friends and have a nice night out. When you walk into The Poet you don't feel out of place or people are looking at you the way you feel sometimes in other bars. Staff are really friendly.

Nice! Limited lunch time menu. Clean place, good service. Friendly staff. 4 stars as limited menu not reflected the gluten free options.
