Weekly stand-up comedy night at the Pavilion Bar, Belfast ran by local comics Luke McGibbon and Ross Mitchell
Want to try stand up? Facebook this page and get yourself on stage! Free pint for first-time performers!
The pavilion is a wonderful, humble room where you can catch the stars of tomorrow performing in an intimate space. Whether it's established acts like Micky Bartlett (BBC's monumental), Shane Todd (BBC's Monumental, Harlem Gun club, Mike Mcgoldrick) Colin Geddis (I AM FIGHTER, Besty McD) or first-timers, it's all happening at Monday Night Comedy, where you can see a mix of experienced acts trying out new material and new recruits doing the dreaded first gig. Everyone has 7-10 minutes, capped off with a longer set from a headliner. It's all held together by our manic, extroverted and most importantly hilarious MCs George Firehorse and Conor Mcginley!
Entry is £4 (£3 students)
If you want to do your first gig with us, get in touch! Don't be scared, even if you think you aren't funny! Sure it was Kurt Vonnegut who said 'When I write, I feel like an armless, legless man with a crayon in his mouth.' and he was an incredible writer. Perhaps you could be our next armless, legless man.
