The Plough

Had a lovely lunch here today. Here are some pictures of the meals we had. The garlic mushrooms where lovely. And the ribs were huge with lots of flavour. I got the browny Sunday for dessert and it was really nice. So glad we came here for lunch, was a nice start to the day especially as the waiter was so pleasant and friendly. He always did all he could to make sure we had all we needed, nothing was to much bother. I would recommend this place for a nice atmosphere place to eat so nicely cooked food. Parking: Car par is around the side and back of the building

Beautiful pub tucked away in the heart of leverstock green. Definitely worth a visit, lovely terrace/outdoor seating area. Fish portion was huge and service was good! Not the norm in Hemel unfortunately - great pub! Would say the pricing is fairly standard for around the area but the portion size and general ambience definitely added some value, keep it up!

Omg what can I say about this treasure!! The staff were sooo polite and friendly. Every single one of them served us with such professionalism and kindness. They were like mindreaders and asked me if I needed another drink before I had realised how quickly I had drunk my drink. The food was amazing. 2 of us had the same starter, main and pudding. The other 3 had at least the same starters and mains. The starters were presented so neatly and they were divine. The roast dinner we all devoured was so delicious. The waitress was even kind enough to box up any leftovers for us without hesitation. Our puddings were amazing and our drinks were scrummy. This seems like an over the top review but honestly try this place if you get the chance because it’s definitely worth your time and taste buds!!

Really aesthetic and heart warming place. The food is absolutely incredible in every way. The staff are very polite and professional. Honestly worth going to!

I was taken here for a surprise birthday meal on 1st January 2023 There was nine of us dining, The service was brilliant, We were greeted as soon as we walked in, our waiter was called Sebastian and he was great, always checking that we were okay, making sure we had everything we needed, and he was very funny with it. He made us feel very relaxed. I chose the carvery , the food was lovely with plenty of choice. The chef serving the meat was very accommodating too. It was all in all a nice experience and I would definitely recommend here to friends and I will also be going back. Well done The Plough.

Lovely homely feeling when you step into this pub @ The Plough, had Xmas duo here lovely atmosphere friendly & lovely crowd drinks were flowing as was the Xmas dinners staff were really helpful & efficient really enjoyed the night, plenty of parking spaces at the back…….!!

Staff were lovely, the actual place was fine however food was a huge letdown. Olives came warm, drowned in oil and mushy. Partner ordered ribs, really tough and chewy couldn't eat. I had a vegetable lasagne which as you can see by the pic was so dry had no red or white sauce and was completely tasteless other than the cheese on top. Left 5 mins after food arrived without eating They did take the ribs off the bill but paid for everything else.

Been there on Saturday evening. Very beautiful restaurant, it seems a lot of work has been done to the outside garden terrace. The staff was very friendly and gave me a 5star service. The food was very good also.

I have lived near Hemel for a long time and never even knew this pub existed. What a little gem it was, really friendly staff, great food at a reasonable price. With a nice chilled atmosphere, is a must pub to visit if your in our around the leverstock green area.Food: 5/5

Had a fantastic experience, went for a Sunday lunch with 10 people and the waiter Sebastian was amazing! I could not fault him. He was funny, attentive and always went the extra mile. Made the whole experience absolutely brilliant and will definitely be coming back soon.
