I recently booked a large group Baby Shower here at the Green Man and we opted for the Afternoon Tea. I absolutely couldn’t recommend enough! We had a reserved private event space, all the tables were set out beautifully with fresh flowers, teas and coffee’s. The food was beyond delicious and the amount of food and portion sizes were extremely generous! Teresa and the team couldn’t do enough for us and made sure the day went perfectly. I would absolutely recommend the Afternoon Tea and it was perfect for a large group! Thanks again for having us we all had a brilliant day!

Had a fantastic evening meal here on a Monday night! Ordered from the set menu, main and pudding. Very reasonable and there is a 3 course option! Recently refurbished by the looks of it, fresh and clean, and wonder if there is a new chef as food was better than previous visits! Only took photos of the pudding, sorry! Sue served us, and she was brill .

Lovely pub, dog friendly inside and out. Food is good value and always tasty. Special mention in this review to Jess? for doing birthday writing on a desert platter and making it an even more special evening

I was visiting, but apparently this pub has improved alot, we went there for a birthday lunch, sat outside in the beer garden, lovely area, venue is kept tidy, staff are friendly, food is affordable and yum!

We had a 16th birthday celebration meal here for my son, the staff were so lovely and accommodating and the food was delicious and great value for money. We also had a little dog in tow, and this was not a problem at all! Would highly recommend and a special thank you to Threasa and Karen, who were just brilliant as were all the staff, but they really did go over and beyond

Just had an impromptu breakfast at the green man and it was delicious! Such great friendly customer service by employees who clearly enjoy their role. Thank you! Five stars!

First time here and probably last - if you come make plans to drink only don’t rely on the food or service. Arrived at the venue and waited by the door to be taken to my reserved table for 5 min afterwards I was told to sit wherever I want. We ordered from the app as instructed receive the main course first starter after 2 drinks not available and not reimbursed No one to talk to just people giving excuses like you should not order from app order from the bar etc. Place looks nice but food is bellow average, arrived cold and overcooked and service is non existent .

Really nice decor following recent refurbishment. Had a very tasty and reasonably priced afternoon tea. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Only critique would be the crockery was a bit tired looking, but quality of the food more than made up for it.

I had a lunch time booking yesterday with my friends that had travel quite a distance to have Sunday lunch with us. I have to say, I have never had a worse roast dinner in my life. Firstly we waited an hour for our food to arrive, then when it did it was stone cold. The only warm bit was the gravy, the beef was inedible & potatoes were dry & hard. I was truly upset by this. I was given a refund, but have to say I wouldn't recommend this place & won't be returning to eat there I a hurry. Dissapointed customer
