I cannot recommend The Planet enough. I work in a special school and we went here on our school tour. From the very outset Denis was so accommodating. On the day all of the staff were so kind and helpful. They were so understanding of the different needs in the group. They asked if there was a need to adjust lighting and sound which was very helpful. They even showed us the bus stop for the way home in case we didn't know where to go. Denis also allowed us to exit through a side door to avoid crowds/distractions for the children when we were done. The whole staff were so accommodating and understanding. I really commend them on their awareness of differing needs. Thank you to all the team.
Went today with my kids, was told my son is too tall even tho he is as measured at home... on your board be the entrance he was measuring good 3-4cm over the limit even tho he is under the heigh limit measured twice by two different measuring tapes. Very disapointed boy with his brother and friend today.
Due to the nature of my job as a social care worker, I and the teenagers I work with are frequent patrons at the Planet Entertainment Centre, in Blackpool. I want to use this medium to appreciate all staff members. We are always greeted with a big smile, they are always pleasant, and accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about the Planet and I can not recommend it enough. Thanks
We had my daughter's party there on 16th April and we had a lovely time. The kids enjoyed themselves and the food was great. Kelly was our party coordinator and she was so obliging and accommodating. We had previously been for another birthday and that was excellent too.
Great for entertaining kids or adults, great bowling area with bar and snacks available, pool and snooker tables all up stairs. Downstairs is a kids play area with various machines to play with ,there's also a 3D cinema with short movies that use movement of the chairs, wind blowing machine to creat a virtual experience
I come to planet world alot as I have a toddler boy who loves to run around. Well everytime I am here I have a bad experience of something. So I'll start from first. Put money into the paw patrol machine & it took my money machine wasn't working. My child was upset. With no warning the machine is broken.Then was using the vending machines another day drinks machine first used my card and it worked half way never let my drink out. Same happened the chocolate machines it moved but the chocolate bar wouldn't come out. I said to the girl check the camera if you don't believe me. Came in another day looking to order food while we were using the toddler area & they only said they were dealing with parties at the moment and that happend more than once. Then we got the food & chicken was like rubber. Barley any cheese or garlic over the chips. For the price of it. Sitting here today wth 4 kids and I went to ask for a jug of juice willing to pay for it and they said again it's only for parties we give them out. This was before we came in I spent 30€ outside after she said the timing slots wernt starting till 3. So I asked again can we just go in for the last hour as my toddler was upset to go in.she left us in after she explained it wrong to me. So spent €70 within an hour and I couldn't get a jug of juice only for parties. Spilled some water on my table and I asked for blue roll she couldn't find it. Other than the kids having fun and running. I wouldn't recommend it.
Went here for a child's birthday party in December wasn't great had bookin from 5 to 7 come half five staff were closing off ereas for kids also soon as kids sat for food cake was brought out so no interest in food total disaster
Great place to take kids of all ages. We went with kids aged 3-78 and all had a blast. The prices are reasonable, with the possible exception of the 9D cinema and the variety for little kids is unparalleled in Cork.
Planet Entertainment is a great place. Very organized and tidy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Definitely an excellent place to go more times
It's Okay. However the bowling is a bit expensive as they are just hanging on to strings! it should be alot cheaper. Pay for like 30mins or an hour instead of 1-2games! Pool is 10euro for 30min that About 2euro every 5mins
